Newer data appears by running 'update-pciids'. I believe that this data is mainly used to provide human-readable information in /var/log/messages, but people have requested this sort of update in the past to get certain hardware working in KnoppMyth.
I recommend making it run either at every boot or as a cron job to run monthly.</i></li><li><strong>Project</strong> set to <i> LinHES</i></li><li><strong>Subject</strong> set to <i>PCI IDs out of date (09/2008)</i></li><li><strong>Status</strong> changed from <i>New</i> to <i>Closed</i></li><li><strong>Priority</strong> changed from <i>Normal</i> to <i>Normal</i></li><li><strong>Target version</strong> set to <i>7.3</i></li></ul>
