Description
This script should also look to see if Kodi is running before allowing myth_mtc to run. I am finding it runs while I am watch media on Kodi and it locks up Kodi.

I don't think that I've experienced this, but maybe it is hardware dependent. I think if I am watching live tv or recordings, myth_mtc doesn't run, but if kodi is idle or watching something in an add-on besides pvr.mythtv, myth_mtc runs, but doesn't cause any trouble on my combined frontend / backend.
