Description
Just discovered that ntfs-3g USB devices cannot be accessed by mythtv.
When I plug in an external USB drive formatted as ntfs-3g (i.e. a new drive I neglected to reformat as FAT32 or normal NTFS)
udev auto-mounts it under /media/usb1 but it will not show up like other devices in Watch Videos > Media
in xshell, ls /media/usb1 returns Permission Denied.
root can access it fine and I can play videos from the device in mplayer as root.
ntfs-3g has been added to archlinux AUR (ntfs-3g-ar 2009.4.4AR.1-1)
Not sure if this wold solve the problem but all the google hits I've followed suggest it will.
Don't want to install it without recommendation from Cecil or another maintainer
