DVD drive automatically closes after eject

Description
My DVD drive closes automatically within 0-10 seconds after eject regardless of if it's done via the menu or manually.
Fix appears to be to [[https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/356631|update the udev package]] to a version later than 141-1. Latest one in the main Arch repo is 145... if I have a chance this weekend I will try installing this over R6 to see if it indeed fixes the problem.

Tried udev 146 from main Arch repo and it did not solve the problem. (It also created a bunch of worrysome messages about missing devices.) Was able to revert to the normal package.
