Description
During installation, waiting for the user or waiting for some software to finish running can blank the screen. I can understand wanting to avoid burn-in on bad sets like plasmas, but simply blanking the screen in the middle of the installation doesn't convey that all is well.
How about this: During periods where user input is expected, you get a screensaver that blanks the screen and moves some graphic around, where the graphic says, "Press a key or button to continue." During periods where no input is expected (the installer is working, and all you can do is wait), the graphic could say, "LinHES is working." or something.

Good catch I will disable the screensaver. My installs only take 4-5 minutes from power on to power off, so the screensaver never gets a chance to kick in.
